The break is over when the yield is.

Intermission turns the pause and the break into invited, commerce-matched placements with a measurement unit no other television format produces: the opt-in, and the chosen seconds behind it. The documentation is public, delivery rides standard VAST and server-side stitching, and every role in the system is an open interface built for the parties who already do that job best.

For streamers and publishers

Yield first, format second.

Every second the format touches is floored at what your standard fill would have paid, computed from your own rates at decision time. The Invitation occupies a standard six second slot; unpressed, it monetizes as a bumper. Pressed, chosen playback accrues against your baseline, and the break ends when its yield is met, sometimes in fewer seconds than you scheduled, sometimes in more. Your worst case is your status quo. Every opt-in is upside, in revenue and in a viewer who chose what filled their break.

No SDK, no new pipes: the unit travels as VAST through the stitching you already run, with the interactive layer where your player supports it and graceful fallback to a standard bumper where it does not.

For identity and match providers

An open seat, built for whoever holds the join.

The match provider role is a published interface: at session start, post a session token, matched advertiser, product identifiers with confidence, and a freshness window. The format never touches user-level identity. If you hold verified identity on one side and household reach on the other, the role is implementable from the public documentation, and the reference implementation is being built against it.

For measurement and commerce partners

A signal worth attributing, and a checkout to land in.

Opt-in events are structured to join with transaction-verified attribution: interest volunteered on the TV, confirmed as purchases at checkout, cross-merchant. And the format's expanded play can end in a point of sale, a handoff completed on the viewer's phone with installment options rendered on the card, which makes every verified conversion a shared win with the partner who processes it.

If you operate supply, identity, measurement, or checkout and want to implement or pilot the format, we would like to talk. Integration notes follow the published documentation.
